Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG) is a free, public art museum dedicated to advancing critical thinking, cultural understanding, and well-being through transformative experiences with art. Founded in 1926, LUAG cares for a permanent collection of over 20,000 works spanning diverse cultures and historical periods, including an outdoor sculpture collection across Lehigh's campuses. Beyond its main galleries in the Zoellner Arts Center, LUAG extends its reach with rotating exhibitions in multiple campus spaces and public billboards. LUAG serves as a vital cultural resource for the university, the Lehigh Valley, and beyond, offering dynamic programming, educational opportunities, and community engagement for learners of all ages. The museum actively fosters student experiential learning through internships, volunteer roles, and the interdisciplinary LUAG Lab, and offers a Minor in Museum Studies. As LUAG approaches its centennial in 2026, it continues to make its collection and exhibitions inclusive and accessible, both in person and online.
