Details:
Teachers and non-formal educators are invited to learn how to facilitate scientific inquiry outdoors. We'll spend time outside learning science routines, practicing investigations, and engaging in collaborative scientific discussions. This workshop draws on Lawrence Hall of Science Better Environmental Education Teaching, Learning, and Expertise Sharing (BEETLES) Program. Certified teachers are eligible to receive 4 hours of professional development in accordance with Act 48. Coffee and tea will be provided, pack your own lunch and snacks as there are no restaurants or stores near our meeting location.
