Mineral King was started by Aiden Paul-Scott and Kasey Klar in the summer of
2020, as they graduated college straight into the pandemic. Back in their hometown
north of LA, they joined forces with Joonas Cohen and eventually Marcus Sanchez
to work on creating a new sound. Blending all their influences, from pop punk to
progressive rock, math to alt-country, they created riff-laden, rhythmically complex
music while still having room for intentional and intimate lyricism
