NYLAG will be at the library to provide all those interested with legal advice and next steps for any questions they may have, and will be hosting a worker's rights information session for those seeking knowledge on how to navigate employment rights, whether it's workplace discrimination, hiring/firing, unemployment benefits, and more. If you'd like to speak with someone at NYLAG's Employment Law Project about a specific workplace issue you're having* please bring any of the following documents (digital copies such as screenshots are fine) : Paystubs/any records of payments from a job Terminations letters Other communications with a boss/supervisor around a workplace issue If you have already submitted a complaint at a city state of federal agency, please bring a copy of what you submitted Those interested do not have to make an appointment - it is first come first served, so limited spots are available. The Worker's Rights Workshops will be held at the beginning and end of the clinic!
