Join for an ENCORE experience - explore an aurora!
Astro-photographer O-Cheol Kwon took these eye-catching videos during the Aurora Substorm 2015. These are not the usual time-lapse images, but high-resolution videos taken by special cameras with low light sensors. Audiences will experience sophisticated and still dynamic features of a real Aurora storm. Scientific explanations and beautiful artworks about the legend of the aurora are featured throughout the movie.
Doors close promptly at 2:00 p.m. If you need to leave for any reason, you are welcome to do so, but you will not be able to reenter the theater until the show is finished. Food and drinks are not allowed. Electronic devices should be set to silent. Target audience is 6 - adult. Loud sounds and bright, flashing lights and explosions may affect some younger audience members. Registration opens two weeks before a show and is required for this free show. The entire presentation runs 35-45 minutes.
