Dungeons & Dragons for First Timers

Join the DFW Young & Social community for engaging events designed for adults 18 and older! Experience the thrill of Dungeons & Dragons for First Timers on every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This session is perfect for newcomers, featuring two hours of instruction on character building, spell selection, core rules, and gameplay, followed by a guided one-shot adventure led by an experienced Dungeon Master. No prior experience is necessary—just come curious and ready to play! The cost is $25 per person, which includes a 7-piece dice set, a composition notebook, and a DFWYAS binder with essential materials. Space is limited to 7 players, so be sure to secure your spot by registering in advance on our calendar.

Additionally, don’t miss our free Life Skills Series event to learn how to play Moon Dominoes on Saturday, June 27 at 12:00 PM. Led by experienced member Ryan Johnson, this beginner-friendly session will cover the game's rules, strategies, and gameplay in a relaxed environment, allowing for open play afterward.

For both events, please note that all transactions incur a 9% fee for processing costs, community growth, and assistance programs.
