Details:
Testers & Tasters Cookbook Club is a place to talk about food and cooking!
Come share your experiments, experiences, triumphs, and tragedies.
At our June meeting we will be embracing our Summer Reading theme of Unearth a Story by featuring the foods that come from underground! Think potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips, rutabaga, peanuts, ginger, turmeric, and so many more! If the part we eat grows below the surface, we want to celebrate it.
There will be cookbooks available for browsing at the North Regional Library information desk, but you can get your recipe from any cookbook or other source.
When you know the name of the dish you'll be bringing, please email the name and source to etobias@dconc.gov.
And don't forget some containers for leftovers!
Questions? Email etobias@dconc.gov or call 919-560-0140.
Registration closes 24 hours before the meeting, but email me if you've missed the deadline and still want to come.
Happy Cooking to all!
All in-person programming is subject to change or cancellation based on current COVID conditions.
