2 Day Defensive Handgun with Holster

This course is designed for experienced handgun owners interested in building on their foundation in firearm handling, using a holster and improving speed and accuracy placing shots on target
Round Count - 800 rounds total
In this class you will learn how to safely handle your gun to include: weapons nomenclature, loading/unloading, sighting systems, grip, posture and base, the draw (from concealment as well), clearing malfunctions, ready positions, weapons maintenance and more.
There will be discussions on things to consider as a CCW holder, types of concealed carry, weapon and ammo selection, standard response to a threat, what to do after a shooting, how to avoid bad situations, and many more topics.

• Handgun in good operating condition
• At least 2 magazines
• Rigid belt
• Magazine pouch
• Quality belt-mounted rigid holster for dominant side
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Hat with a brim
• Closed-toe shoes
• Sunscreen
• Lunch and snacks
• Plenty of water or electrolytes

*Chris Werlinger*
Chris served in the US ARMY. He was a Range Master at Front Sight Training Institute as well as the Range Training Supervisor. Chris was the lead instructor for “Train the Trainer”, a class for Law Enforcement and Military. At Prairie Fire Nevada, he was the Training Supervisor for all range staff. Chris has over 20 years of experience teaching firearms and holds certifications from the NRA, USCCA, Mid-South Institute, and is a Nevada and Utah CCW qualified instructor.
