This beginner-friendly defensive handgun course is designed for new and experienced handgun owners interested in building their foundation in firearm handling, using a holster and improving speed and accuracy placing shots on target
Round Count - 800 rounds total
Topics and Skills Covered:
• Firearm safety rules and range etiquette
• Handgun operation
• Safe loading and unloading procedures
• Fundamentals of stance, grip, sights, trigger press, follow through
• Malfunction identification and clearances
• Reloads, tactical and combat emergency
• Holster safety and proper equipment setup
• Safe draw stroke and re-holstering techniques
• Live-fire range practice

Perfect for first-time handgun owners, newer shooters, or ANYONE wanting to continue their training.
Equipment Required:
• Handgun in good operating condition
• At least 2 magazines
• Rigid belt
• Magazine pouch
• Quality belt-mounted rigid outside the waistband (OWB)
holster for dominant side
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Hat with a brim
• Closed-toe shoes
• Sunscreen
• Lunch and snacks
• Plenty of water or electrolytes
