1. Materials
- Boats must be made primarily of corrugated cardboard.
- Allowed: duct tape, masking tape, packing tape, glue, and water-resistant coatings (paint, polyurethane, etc.).
- Not allowed: wood, plastic (except tape), metal, foam, fiberglass, or pre-built boat parts.
2. Construction
- Boats must be handmade by participants (no store-bought or pre-manufactured boats)
- All structural components must be cardboard (no hidden reinforcements)
