Event Details:
Experience two days of hands-on blacksmithing with historic demonstrations.
Create items like a bottle opener, S hook, J hook, candy cane, double hook, and more alongside skilled artisans. One item takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
Learn using traditional coal forges and tools, gaining insight into a craft with a 3,000-year history.
Cost:
FREE admission to grounds, demonstrations, and games.
Forge an object for $10 each (ages 11 and up); free for ages 10 and under.
Additional Info:
Multiple forging stations available with forges, anvils, vises, and tools.
Each item takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
Safety glasses and gloves provided; all ages welcome.
Participants under 18 require adult permission and supervision in some cases.
