"Skeeter Van Meter" is a local singer-guitarist specializing in Americana, Rock, Blues and Country of all eras. He keeps busy performing throughout the N. Austin area as a duo with a number of other local artists and with his electric trio (Van Meter) and acoustic group (Stumpers). As a solo artist, Skeeter loves to explore the broad and diverse parameters of American music and derives satisfaction from playing those songs that you probably won't hear anywhere else. Being a professional and serving the public for over 30 years, he is happy and more than willing to take requests or pull out that song that you really want to hear as a cherished member of the audience, no matter the style or genre.
