In this class, you'll work with exciting specialty materials, including faux leather and waterproof ripstop fabric, while learning bag-making techniques that can be applied to many future projects. The class will focus on constructing the small-size bag, ideal for TSA-approved travel items and everyday organization.
In this class, students will learn how to:
Work confidently with faux leather
Construct a bag using gusset panels
Apply raw-edge binding for a professional finish
Customize interior slip pockets to suit their needs
Whether you're expanding your bag-making skills or trying specialty materials for the first time, you'll leave class with a beautiful organizer and techniques you'll use again and again.
