Stories from the Vault returns for a special program, A Century-Old Ride, Brought to Life, offering a close-up look at Harley-Davidson history you won’t see on a typical Museum visit.
On July 10, H-D Archives brings out a rare 1920 Harley-Davidson J Model for a live, hands-on demonstration. See how early riders started their motorcycles, kept them running, and navigated the roads of the 1920s, long before modern conveniences, paved highways, or built-in safety features.
This isn’t a static display. It’s a live, in-person experience that brings the mechanics, skill, and determination of early riding to life through storytelling and expert insight.
These programs are offered sparingly and are not part of the regular Museum experience.
Advance tickets required. Capacity is limited. When tickets are gone, the vault closes.
