Turtle Fest at Discovery World

This exciting event is dedicated to our charming resident turtles and will feature a variety of engaging activities. Interact with live turtles from the Wildlife In Need Center, participate in the DIY Turtle Bucket Wall Challenge, and explore community exhibitors focused on conservation and wildlife education. Enjoy live blacksmithing demonstrations by local artist Preston Edmonds, animal encounters with the Racine Zoo, and turtle-themed story time for young readers. Get creative at the Turtle Drawing Station, witness turtle feedings and enrichment presentations, and meet our resident turtles including Beep & Boop, Salt & Peppa, Tortilla, Linnaeus, and Wolverine while learning about their care and habitats.
