The Denver Public Library (DPL) is the public library system of the City and County of Denver, Colorado, established in 1889. It aims to create welcoming spaces where all are free to explore and connect, fostering a community where everyone thrives. DPL provides essential resources and services, including early literacy programs, computer and internet access, training, and a wide array of family and adult programs across its 28 locations and two bookmobiles. The library boasts a collection of over 2 million items, encompassing books, reference materials, movies, music, and photographs, with notable special collections such as the Western History and Genealogy Department and the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library.
