The Motor City Revue is a 12-piece band dedicated to faithfully recreating the iconic Motown sound that revolutionized the music industry over half a century ago. With a commitment to preserving the vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements of the original recordings, the band offers audiences an authentic tribute to the artists and songs that defined a generation. For over three decades (yes, really), the Blooze Brothers Band has been one of Chicagoland’s most in-demand show bands. They not only honor the music made by the original Blues Brothers in movies, TV, and recordings, but the spirit in which they played – from Dan Aykroyd’s love of traditional blues, Motown, soul, and R&B to John Belushi’s love of classic rock. Like Aykroyd and Belushi, they fuse those great musical traditions into a stage show that energizes and delights hundreds of thousands of music fans across the greater Chicago area and beyond every year.
With a combination of two high-energy frontmen, a dynamic female lead singer, some of Chicago's top musicians, and a briefcase full of your favorite rhythm & blues, blues, and soul classics, the Blooze Brothers Band provides a musical experience that can't be beat!
GENERAL INFORMATION
Tickets are required for all Concerts at Memorial Park guests ages 2 and up.
This is a general admission event. All stadium seats and lawn seating areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving seats or space before the gates open is prohibited. Any chairs/blankets set-up in Memorial Park prior to 5P will be removed.
Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring a blanket (not to exceed 6' x 6') or a standard bag/camping chair. Please be considerate and do not use/reserve more space than you need to allow room for all ticketed concertgoers.
Memorial Park opens at 5P for this performance. Any chairs/blankets set-up in Memorial Park prior to 5P will be removed.
