Discussions have continued across Ohio regarding proposals to eliminate property taxes, but what would a change like this mean for the local services and organizations our communities rely upon in Tuscarawas County?
We invite the community to attend a panel discussion titled What’s at Stake if Property Taxes Are Eliminated? Representatives from local organizations and communities will share basic information about property taxes and discuss how property tax funding supports critical community services such as public safety, schools, libraries, senior services, social services, developmental disabilities services, veteran services, fire and EMS services, and other local resources. Time will be allotted for questions and answers.
