Details:
Ideastream Public Media is launching “Listen. Engage. Vote. 2026” to hear what community members have to say about local, state, and national politics ahead of the 2026 midterm election. Ideastream reporters and staff will be setting up “office hours” on Wednesday, July 1 between 11am-2pm at the Dover Public Library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street.
Ideastream is the home of Northeast Ohio's member-supported public broadcasting stations WKSU, WVIZ, and WCLV. Ideastream wants to listen to people from the area during these sessions so they can focus future stories on topics residents have identified as essential to making an informed vote.
“This is a great opportunity for local people to share their thoughts and concerns,” says Sherrel Rieger, adult programming specialist. “Adults of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to participate.”
If you can’t stop by in person, you can fill out an election survey at www.ideastream.org/listen-engage-vote.
These listening sessions will be held on Wednesday, July 1 between 11am-2pm at the Dover Public Library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street. No registration necessary. For more information, call the library at 330-343-6123.
