Journey back to the events of the days leading to the American Revolution with this 90 minute walking tour of downtown Portsmouth. From the 1774 siege of Fort William and Mary and the historic shipyards on the Piscataqua River to the assembly halls and taverns where patriots rallied local sentiments and prepared for revolution. Along the way, learn about the critical role residents like John Langdon, William Whipple, John Paul Jones and others played in the continental struggle for liberty.
