Social Art and Culture

Social Art and Culture is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2009, based in Washington, D.C.'s Anacostia Arts and Culture District. Their mission is to use the transformative power of the arts to educate, heal, and activate change, particularly in underserved communities. They focus on creative economics, environmental justice, public health, and collective impact building, aiming to lead a new narrative around investing in the creative economy and supporting artisans and their culture through exhibitions, media arts, fellowships, and curated experiences.
