Join us for a Guided Walking Tour of the Historic Claremont Village, led by knowledgeable docents from Claremont Heritage, the non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Claremont’s rich architectural, natural, and cultural resources. This informative tour, spanning approximately two miles, will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where you'll delve into the town's fascinating history, exploring key sites related to its agricultural roots, the significance of the railroad, and the renowned Claremont Colleges. The tour concludes in time for you to enjoy lunch at one of the charming restaurants in the Village.
Participants are advised to arrive by 9:45 AM at the Historic Depot (now home to the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art) located at 200 West 1st Street, Claremont, CA 91711. Comfortable clothing, walking shoes, hats, and water are recommended. The cost is $20 per person, and reservations are required.
