Details:
This June, the Healthcare Ministry is stepping up to champion the vitality of the men in our congregation and community. We recognize the sobering realities: heart disease remains the leading cause of death for Black men, and they face the nation’s highest risks regarding prostate cancer. However, these statistics don’t have to be our destiny. Through proactive screenings, informed lifestyle choices, and early detection, many of these conditions are manageable—and often preventable.
Whether you’re looking to prioritize heart health, navigate cancer screenings, or master your medication routine, we are here to walk this journey with you. Join us in the Narthex on Sunday, June 21st, following the service. We will be providing vital wellness resources, medication trackers, and pill organizers to help you take charge of your health. Let’s build a stronger, healthier future for our families and our community—starting with you.
The FWBC Healthcare Ministry will hold health screenings on June 21st, after the service, in the Narthex, to help men take charge of their health and build a stronger future for themselves, their families, and our community.
