The 4S Ranch Library is a branch of the San Diego County Library system, serving the 4S Ranch community. It offers a wide range of services and programs for all ages, including weekly family story times, a summer reading program, adult craft programs, and monthly book clubs. The library provides access to books, music, and DVDs, as well as state-of-the-art amenities such as wireless access, self-checkout machines, and public computers. It also features Early Literacy computers for children and a designated space for teens, aiming to inform, educate, inspire, and entertain its patrons. The branch was built by Newland Communities and opened in 2007, and it is operated and staffed by the County of San Diego. Donations to the Friends of the 4S Ranch Library help fund additional materials, supplies, and programs.
