Into the Woods

Join the New Minowa Players for the conclusion of their 50th Anniversary Season with the award-winning musical "Into the Woods" by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim. This enchanting and timeless tale features beloved storybook characters, including a Baker and his wife who long for a child, Cinderella, who dreams of attending the King’s Festival, and Jack, who wishes for his cow to give milk. When the Baker and his wife set out to break a Witch's curse that prevents them from having children, their journey leads to granted wishes but also unforeseen consequences that haunt them. Directed by Sheryl Scheffert and Molly Holkesvik with music direction by Jonathon Struve, the performance will be held at the Decorah High School Auditorium on June 25-28, with showtimes at 7 pm (Thursday to Saturday) and 2 pm (Sunday).
