The Summer Literacy Programs offer engaging 21st Century literacy experiences for children of various age groups. The "Read It & Rate It! Summer BreakSpot" invites children of all ages to explore stories while enjoying breakfast, enhancing their comprehension through interactive questions. Participation in this program also counts as a day's reading for logging into Beanstack, supporting language and literacy development and approaches to learning. For younger children, programs like "Mother Goose On the Loose" and "Baby Tales" cater specifically to infants and toddlers (ages 0-24 months), introducing the foundational elements of literacy through nursery rhymes, stories, fingerplays, and music in a nurturing atmosphere. Both programs may incorporate unstructured play and socialization, providing a fun and educational environment for caregivers and their little ones. No registration is required for the Baby Tales program.
