Read It & Rate It! Summer BreakSpot

The Read It & Rate It! Summer BreakSpot is an engaging 21st Century literacy program designed for children of all ages, combining the joys of reading with nutritious meals. Every morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the John H. Dickerson Heritage Library offers a free sit-down breakfast for kids and teens ages 18 and under. While enjoying their meal, children can explore stories and enhance their comprehension skills by answering questions, with each session counting as a day of reading to be logged in Beanstack. This initiative promotes Language and Literacy Development and Approaches to Learning, fostering a healthy and educational summer experience without the need for registration or forms.
