Details:
Experience an inspiring evening that explores the power of storytelling, accessibility, and belonging.
The evening begins with a screening of I am disABLEd, a Fresh Films documentary highlighting local stories that challenge assumptions, celebrate ability, and demonstrate the impact of creating communities where everyone can participate fully.
Following the screening, Academy Award-winning actress, author, and advocate Marlee Matlin will share her personal story and perspective on representation, accessibility, and the role arts and culture play in building more inclusive communities.
Guests will also be among the first to experience the Putnam Museum's enhanced accessibility features powered by Capption technology, part of a broader effort to expand access across the Culture Bright ecosystem.
Additional screenings of I am disABLEd will take place August 20–23.
