**Diversity Saturdays 2026: A Celebration of Community and Expression**

Colgay Pride invites you to the relaunch of Diversity Saturdays, a vital platform for the LGBTQ+ community in Columbus, Georgia, starting with the spectacular "Battle of the Divas" drag show on September 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at 4214 16th Ave. This high-energy event will feature performances from renowned drag artists including Naomi Envy, Miss Columbus Georgia Pride 2026, along with Lotus Black, Anita Dollar, and Kakora Rayne Black, promising an evening filled with bold performances and entertainment.

Diversity Saturdays aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly those who struggle with acceptance in their personal lives. These events foster authenticity, allowing attendees to connect, express themselves, and celebrate their identities without fear. This year's programming will emphasize advocacy, education, and community togetherness, especially in light of ongoing challenges faced by the community.

The season kicks off on July 4th, 2026, to coincide with America’s 250th anniversary, featuring fireworks, food trucks, music, dancing, drag shows, vendors, and community speakers. The aim is not only to celebrate independence but to honor the importance of individuality and inclusivity.

Future Diversity Saturdays are slated for August (none due to heat), September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5, 2026, with events running from 5 PM to 10 PM.
