NOTE: This class meets for 3 hours, from 9 AM-12 PM.
This class explores how trauma impacts children’s emotional development and contributes to anger-related behaviors. Caregivers will learn the three components of anger, along with common triggers that can lead children and teenagers to become overwhelmed and escalate emotionally. Participants will learn to recognize early warning signs of escalation and how to respond with safe, supportive interventions that promote calming, connection, and emotional regulation.
