Zine Makers, Grades 5-8

Let's be honest - by July our kids need something new to do. Zine Makers is a perfect fit for kids going into 5th through 8th grades. Students will dive into the creative world of zines, small, handmade magazines that combine art, storytelling, and personal expression. They’ll learn how artists and writers use new and upcycled materials to create their zines, and to share ideas, humor, poetry, and personal perspectives while discovering techniques for layout, composition, and combining text with imagery.
