The Switzer Library, a flagship branch of the Cobb County Public Library System, has served the community since 1989. It functions as the main library and houses administrative support resources for the system. The library offers a wide array of services and resources, including meeting and study rooms, public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, copying, faxing, and scanning. It also provides a diverse collection of books and multimedia materials, along with educational programs for all ages. Notable features include the Georgia Room, a local history and genealogical collection, and an Accessibility Services Room designed as a sensory space for patrons with disabilities or sensory processing disorders. Recent renovations have introduced a family computing space, a new children's programming room, and dedicated makerspaces for teens and adults. The library system as a whole aims to be a vital resource center, providing equal access to information, materials, and services to enrich lives, support lifelong learning, and enhance communities.
