Six Flags Over Georgia is a 290-acre amusement park located in Austell, Georgia, near Atlanta. Opened in 1967, it is the second park in the Six Flags chain. The park features over 40 rides, including numerous roller coasters, and is themed around the six flags that have flown over Georgia throughout history. It offers a variety of attractions for thrill-seekers and families, including live shows, immersive dining experiences, and seasonal events like Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. The park also includes Hurricane Harbor Atlanta, a water park. Six Flags Over Georgia is known as "The Thrill Capital of the South" and is recognized for its collection of rides and attractions, such as Goliath, The Great American Scream Machine, and Acrophobia. The park is managed by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and is in the process of being fully owned by the corporation.
