Details:
LA Lions Aquatic Center offers a youth summer rowing camp for ages 12–18 at the LMU boathouse on Marina del Rey. No rowing experience required — coaches assess and place every athlete into the right group on Day 1. Two coached on-water sessions daily at 8:00am and 10:30am, Monday through Friday. We also offer an optional afternoon land training session from 1:00–3:00pm. In formal partnership with Loyola Marymount University. $325/week. 8 weeks running June 8 through August 7, 2026.
Perfect for families in Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and West LA looking for a summer sport for teens. The LMU boathouse is minutes from Santa Monica — kids get coached on-water sessions in actual rowing shells on Marina del Rey. Whether your teenager is a complete beginner or has some athletic background, they'll be challenged and supported at the right level from Day 1.
Activities include on-water rowing in shells and sculls, erg training, video review, strength circuits, and team-building activities. Our junior competitive team begins tryouts in September, making summer camp the perfect pathway into competitive rowing for teens.
This is a water sports camp, aquatic camp, and rowing camp near Santa Monica and West Los Angeles for middle school and high school students. Register at bit.ly/4uKXKyW
