Join us for a festive celebration honoring Rabbi Mark and Carol Shook as we commemorate their special birthdays, alongside a unique July Shabbat Series led by Rabbi Emeritus Mark Shook. Following Shabbat services on July 25, gather for an evening filled with delicious food, live music, and delightful surprises, celebrating the profound impact the Shooks have made at Temple Israel and beyond. Additionally, throughout July, Rabbi Shook will challenge our understanding of fundamental Jewish concepts with a series of presentations exploring the historical influences shaping our beliefs. Friday evenings will include pre-Oneg at 6:00 PM, Shabbat services at 6:30 PM, followed by a dessert Oneg at the Gall Family Sanctuary and Kriegshaber Foyer.
