Young Artists Community Concert in San Luis Obispo - 2026 SLO Summer Music & Arts Festival

Join us for the Young Artists Community Concert on July 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Harold J. Miossi Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA. This free event celebrates the culmination of the 2026 Young Artist Program presented by Festival Mozaic in collaboration with the Colorado College Summer Music Festival. Enjoy performances by talented young musicians Dexter Doris, Dylan Hamme, Aliza Creel, and Gabriella McClellan, joined by their mentors Scott Yoo and Bion Tsang. The concert features Sergei Prokofiev's String Quartet No. 1 in B minor, op. 50, followed by Johannes Brahms' String Sextet No. 2 in B major, op. 36, with a short pause in between. Reservations are requested, and attendees can opt for a free ticket or make a donation at checkout. Prior to this concert, mini-concerts by the Young Artist String Quartet will take place from July 15-18 at local libraries.
