Details:
Inspired by our Audrey Lorde Birthday Celebration, FAE invites all writers and folks interested in expressing themselves through the written word to join us every third Saturday of the month at Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church from 6:30pm to 8pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
Gwynn Wills, an Amherst Writers and Artists Affiliate Workshop Leader, will be our guide on a journey of self-expression and radical visibility. We will explore our response to current events, our vision of the future, and our reflections on the past.
Drawing from prompts inspired by great Queer Writers, we will create our own stories in our own voices that we will be able to cherish for years to come.
As we build our personal portfolios, folks will be invited to submit their pieces to an anthology to be published and printed. Each author featured in the anthology will receive a free copy of our book and the book will be distributed for sale in Montgomery County,
Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Humans United for Equality.
Every month on Saturday
