Join us for a series of inspiring art exhibits celebrating creativity and community at the Historic Masonic Theatre.
The Annual Art Show will showcase the talents of students from Covington Middle School and Alleghany High School, featuring a reception for students, parents, guardians, and community members on [date]. This event is free to the public, with regular hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
From May 1 to July 10, the Theatre will also host the VA250 "From Our Neighborhood" Quilt Exhibit, displaying 38 beautiful quilts crafted by local artisans, including 19 Quilts of Valor to honor veterans. Visitors can enjoy this moving collection Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a warm invitation to reflect on the heartfelt stories behind each piece.
Finally, from June 16 to July 10, 2026, celebrate Juneteenth in the Gallery, showcasing African American history and artistic expression through the works of notable artists such as Pearlista Henry, Dyke Wood, and Donald Earley, alongside illustrations by James Barkley. This exhibit will honor freedom, heritage, and the powerful role of art in sharing our stories.
