**Juneteenth in the Gallery** from June 16 to July 10, 2026, honors the spirit and resilience of African American history through artwork from Pearlista Henry, Dyke Wood, Donald Earley, and notable Sounder illustrations by James Barkley, showcasing the power of art to convey shared narratives of freedom and heritage.
Simultaneously, the **From Our Neighborhood Quilt Exhibit: VA250** at the Historic Masonic Theatre also runs from May 1 to July 10. It features 38 handcrafted quilts by local artisans that embody artistry and community spirit, including 19 Quilts of Valor dedicated to honoring veterans. The exhibit presents a visually stunning experience across various spaces in the Theatre, inviting reflection on the stories woven into these quilts.
