Stories in the Park

Join us for "Stories in the Park" featuring special guest storyteller Itsa Shash on July 6 at the Margaret Harto Pavilion in Covington Community Park. Enjoy an engaging session filled with stories, music, movement, and rhymes designed to enhance your child's early literacy skills. Itsa Shash, a talented storyteller of Indeh (Apache), Nahua, Chichimeca, and Filipino descent, has captivated audiences since he was four years old, celebrating culture and fostering community through storytelling. Dress for the weather and bring something to sit on, as the program will be canceled in case of extreme heat or rain. No registration is required for this enriching event, sponsored by the Friends of the Covington Library.
