Join us every Friday at Clark Planetarium between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. for an interesting and fun look at free hands-on science projects. 

July 3 -- Gas Giants -- Come learn about our four gas giants and the massive storms that dominate their atmospheres and how they compare to Earth's storms.

July 17 -- Junkbots -- You might have heard of recycling, but come try upcycling by creating your own robot out of recycled materials!

July 24 -- Heat -- Have you ever wondered why tiled floors feel cooler than carpeted ones? To truly beat the heat this summer, come learn all about the science behind what's hot and what's not through eye catching demonstrations and hands on experiments.

July 31 --Tinker Day: Buildings and Structures -- Come learn about how tall buildings are built. Then test yourself in an engineering challenge where you get to design your own framework skyscraper and put it up against your friends. We will test the structures strength against earthquakes, high winds, and heavy loads. You will learn about the natural forces that our smallest homes and tallest buildings resist each day and what the future looks like for human habitation.
