Come join us at Calavera Mexican Restaurant for the Verde Valley Open Mic this Sunday from 5-8pm. Verde Valley Open Mic is open to musicians of all skill levels.
The performer list is first come first served.
Calavera is located at 747 S. Main Street in Cottonwood. They have great food and drink and we encourage you to enjoy a meal and/or drinks while you are there as the restaurant generously lets us use the room at no cost. We meet in the big room on the left side of the restaurant. Audience is always welcome to come and enjoy a meal and some music. Plenty of parking is available.
To keep performers safe, we use disposable microphone covers that are changed between performances (or feel free to bring your own mic).
We have good news for all our musicians! We have expanded our capabilities to accommodate larger groups on the stage! In the past, we were limited by the mixer on our PA system. They have a new mixer that allows as many microphones and instruments as you need for your performance. We ask that if you wish to bring a keyboard, please let us know ahead of time and that you show up before 4:15 so it may be set up and sound-checked before music begins. We can only accommodate one keyboard per night, so it is first come first served. Also, it is with the understanding that others may use your keyboard.
