Betty Zane: Heroine of the Revolution

Join us in celebrating Elizabeth 'Betty' Zane, who, at just seventeen, saved Fort Henry during the last battle of the Revolutionary War. Her courageous actions inspired the first book by author Zane Grey. Her family played a significant role in founding Zanesville, Marietta, Wheeling, and part of the National Road. This program will be held at both West Lafayette Branch Library on July 15 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Coshocton County District Library on July 16 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
