Shakespeare in Bloom - Acting Workshop

Join us for Shakespeare in Bloom, a series of four interactive workshops designed for high school students and adults. Led by John S. Davies, who will direct WLAC’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream this October, these classes are perfect for anyone wanting to explore Shakespeare in a fun and approachable way. Whether you’re planning to audition for A Midsummer Night’s Dream or simply curious about the world’s most famous playwright, this workshop is for you! We will explore: Why Shakespeare still matters today Understanding Shakespeare’s language Characters, scenes, poetry, and dialogue from his plays Preparation for WLAC’s upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream No previous Shakespeare experience is required!
