Join Solano Land Trust staff for a Community Science volunteer opportunity! Work will consist of; weeding, cardboard sheet mulching, wood chip mulching, spreading mulch with rakes, plant ID sign install, irrigation maintenance and potentially caging shrubs or trees if rodent damage is present. Please note the earlier start time than usual. Native Plant Garden work will include bending and kneeling; we have a few sit pads to provide to folks but if you have your own, please bring them. We will work rain or shine, dress in layers and bring sunscreen, we will have extra water and there is a water fountain and restrooms on site. Please register via the events calendar. If signups are lower than 2 people, then we will cancel the event. Contact Olivia Freitas at olivia@solanolandtrust.org with questions. Registration is recommended.
