New Teacher's Showcase with KISD 2026

We’re excited to invite local businesses and organizations to participate in this year’s New Teacher Showcase—a unique opportunity to welcome and connect with KISD’s newest educators! This year’s official theme is: We’re bringing the excitement and energy of a carnival-inspired experience to this year’s event! Think bright colors, carnival games, tickets, balloons, popcorn, circus-style decorations, and interactive fun. We encourage all vendors to embrace the theme by decorating your booths accordingly and creating an engaging experience for attendees. As a bonus, the new teachers will vote on their favorite themed booth, and the winner will receive a special gift basket as a thank-you for helping make the event memorable and fun! All newly hired KISD teachers will be attending a special orientation and training event, and during their morning and afternoon breaks, as well as lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with them one-on-one. This is your chance to introduce your business or organization, build relationships, and make a lasting first impression as we welcome new educators to the Killeen community. With the district planning to hire approximately 400–500 new teachers for the 2026–2027 school year, this showcase gives you exceptional visibility and a meaningful way to support the educators who help shape our students' future.
