Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation would like to invite you and your families to spend a day fishing on Saturday February 28, 2026 at the City Park Duck Pond (1206 W. Avenue B. Copperas Cove, TX 76522). This is not an actual event, this is a day that we invite the community to come out to our City Park stocked pond and have a fun day of fishing with the family! There is a 5 Fish Limit, and if you are 18 years or older, it is required by the state that you have a fishing license. Even if a parent is just assisting their child fishing, they will still need to have a fishing license. If your child is old enough to fish by themselves and does not need assistance, then the parent will not need to get a fishing license.
