Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is proud to be a 2026 Every Kid Outdoors Community Partner!
As part of the program, kids can pick up challenge passports at the Sanctuary and participate in activities throughout the year to earn badges. Kids who complete their passports before the end of 2026 can enter to win fun prizes (see the official Every Kid Outdoors website for full details).
Join the Sanctuary’s Landscaping team and help perform a real tree audit at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary!
Tree audits help track important information about tree health, condition, growth, fire risk, and more. Participants will learn how environmental teams monitor and care for trees while helping collect valuable data throughout the Sanctuary.

Advance registration is preferred but not required.

• This activity takes place outdoors and may include walking on uneven or sandy terrain.
• Our Sanctuary spans more than 6,000 acres. If you are unfamiliar with the property, please stop by the Welcome Center first to pick up a map and directions.
• Please allow extra time to reach the meeting location.
