The City is holding a neighborhood informational meeting to provide an overview and Q/A session for the upcoming Heights Sewer Collection Improvements project on Monday, June 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Wide Community Center (14 Canterbury Road).
The purpose of this project is to construct improvements to the sanitary sewer system serving the Concord Heights area. The project will specifically include replacement of approximately 6,500 feet of gravity sewer (including replacing sewer services up to the edge of City right-of-way, with new sewer cleanouts for all services) and approximately 3,000 feet of sewer force main from the sewer pump station adjacent to D’Amante Drive. Sewer work will occur along Grover Street (entire length), Pembroke Road from Grover Street to Branch Turnpike, Branch Turnpike (entire length), and Loudon Road from Branch Turnpike to D’Amante Drive.
The City has retained S.U.R. Construction West as the contractor for this project. Construction is anticipated to begin on in mid-July and is expected to be substantially complete by spring 2028.
