Blooms, Books, & Bins

Join us for a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities at two exciting events in Long Beach!

**Blooms, Books, & Bins** will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Guidance Center (1301 Pine Avenue). Hosted by Team Good Vibes from the Neighborhood Leadership Program Class of 2026, this green fair offers free plants, books, local author storytimes, kids' crafts, composting supplies, snacks, raffles, and more! The first 35 attendees will receive a start-your-own-garden kit, and no registration is required.

Additionally, don’t miss **K-3rd Grade Storytime** at The Bembridge House (953 N. Park Circle) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Children entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited for a special Hot Dog Storytime, featuring engaging stories, a guided tour of the historic Bembridge House, and exploration of the beautiful gardens and local bird observation. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
